The Challenge: Create a visually interesting layout for the story, then carry it over into the interactive version.
The Process/Solution: I leaned heavily on the beauty of the region that shows up in the photography, using a sort of collage look on the second spread. Also the vector olive wreath and subtle background pattern add just a touch more flair. For the interactive version, a map tour was added along with a quiz so it gave me a chance to really add more fun/interactivity.
