The Challenge: Create a layout that fit the story, in this case the effect of Dale Sr.'s death after years.
The Process/Solution: I loved the image that I picked for the opener but wanted to do something more to tie it into the story, so after some tinkering I worked in quotes from the story and really liked the look. I also tried to subtly reduce the color saturation of the photos, except for the reds to tie in with the color scheme of his famous #3 car.
