The Challenge: Design a unique mascot for the Mary Baldwin College athletic teams, the fighting squirrels.
The Process/Solution: Not long after creating the Campbell camel, a former college classmate reached out with this opportunity. He was involved in the athletics department there and when a conversation about redesigning the logo came up, he contacted me. I worked through a few rounds of changes but unfortunately, they decided to go in a different direction. The MBC in the circle was part of their existing branding.
