The Challenge: Create a customizable base for AR splash screens.
The Process/Solution: These are built in InDesign and can be changed to fit a customer's needs. The swatches are labeled where they are applied, logo/image carries over throughout, all laid out in a logical fashion that allows efficient customization.
We have used the first splash screen to bake in instructions. There is also the thumbnail that shows up with the link when you share it, followed by buttons that are used during the AR experience. (our provider allows default buttons or allows images to be used). The button to begin the AR experience is generated in the builder, so that's why you don't see it here (but it is accounted for in the template with graphics that show the area it occupies) and the builder also applies other logos at the bottom of the screens.
The two images above are screenshots showing examples of how the images actually look in a browser with the start here button and logos applied (automatically by our AR vendor). Below are the splash screen templates for the three themes, followed by examples of screens I created using them.
